Marching Band brings ‘Shrek’ to life

For its fifth consecutive weekly halftime show, The Ohio State University Marching Band gave an ogre-sized performance. Songs from 2001’s “Shrek” and its sequels were the stars of Saturday’s halftime show at the Rutgers game.

TBDBITL performed “All Star,” “Bad Reputation,” “Livin’ La Vida Loca,” “I’m On My Way,” “Holding Out for a Hero” and “I’m a Believer,” before ending with the famous Script Ohio. The band’s formations included Shrek’s face, Puss in Boots, Donkey and the dragon.

There were two i-dotters this week: Computer science and engineering major Dylan Penka during the pregame performance, and music education and philosophy major Noah Jockett at halftime.
