Multi-institutional team led by Berkeley Lab could help chip manufacturers race ahead of Moore’s Law
Ever since gene editing became feasible, researchers and health officials have sought tools that can quickly and reliably distinguish genetically modified organisms from those that are naturally occurring. Now, such tools exist. A suite of techniques was developed and refined over the course of a six-year program funded by the United States Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity.
Three Lab scientists have been selected by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Science to receive funding through the Early Career Research Program (ECRP). The Department of Energy announced the selection of 93 scientists from across the nation to receive funding for research as part of the program.
